Can you name someplace prettier than the Island of Dominica?

Where is that island? Sorry to be so ignorant about this. I grew up in Puerto Rico and I have been to many islands in the caribbean. My mom lives in Kauai and she says that is the pretiest island in the world. I loved St. Barts and St. Marteen. Their beaches are so beautiful. With clear water that you can see your feet even when you are as deep as water to your waist. The sand is so white you think its snow. And the sand is so soft that it doesnt hurt your feet to walk on it like some beaches in the USA.

It can really hurt your feet on the beaches in Dominica, they are black, most often rock! It is a volcanic island between Guadeloupe and Martinique. It has a small airport so not as many tourists, but it is gorgeous. I have been to St Martin, it is nice, Montserrat, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Jamaica and Puerto Rico

The island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Duh. Any caribbean person will tell you that their island in the prettiest island out there. I love my island.

I am Texan, and have seen many of the islands, though not St Vncent--yet. If you have been to Dominica, can you honestly say anyplace is prettier?

Although I've never been there, your pictures make it clear that Dominica is a beautiful place. I'll have to add it to my list of places that I'd like to see!
