Who has visited Michigan?  |

 We had a wonderful time in Michigan. We camped at Warren State Park which is right on Lake Michigan. They have sand dunes as tall as a small mountain and even though it is difficult to climb it is well worth it once you make it to the top. Notre Dame's football team works out on the dunes. Then we travelled up to Grand Rapids and went to gerald Ford's presidential museum. Then across Michigan to Canada. We really loved Michigan!

| 6. youdontsay (2032) | 3 years ago |  We have family living in Michigan, so we have visited there many times. Our nephews attended Michigan Technical University in the Upper Penninsula - "miles for anywhere". It is an intriguing area, rural, with lots of shoreline.
Wouldn't want to live there in winter, however!

It's a lovely place. We stayed mostly in Port Huron during our week stay. We also visited Detroit suburds. If we have time and money we would like to visit it again

| 8. craftwave (806) | 3 years ago |  I've been in Michigan several times camping. Visited the Amway plant when my parents sold Amway. Been to Mcinaw Island. Went up to the locks and ate at a resturant callled Antlers. it is a beautiful state.
