I want to know has anyone found out the gender of there baby at 15 weeks. Or how soon can one find out. I had an ultra sound at 15 weeks i thought I saw somthing, but the lady doing my ultra sound said it was too early. I also heard on some website that you can find out if it is a boy as early as 14 weeks. Girls would be much longer like 18 weeks. Let me know what you know about this? thanks in advance.

my sonologist informed me about the gender of my baby when i went for a routine scan during my 16th week of pregnancy. But when you do anamoly scan by 20th week sure they will tell you about the gender.A friend of mine has got information about the gender of the baby even by 12 weeks.i think it all depends on the advanced scan machines they are using.

When I was pregnant with my son, I was told that you could tell the gender by ultrasound at 16 weeks. If you get a 3D or 4D ultrasound the best time is around 26 weeks.

we found the gender of both our children with ultra sound. As far as i know ultra sound takes a sounding off the unbourn child and transfers the rebounding soundwaves in to a picture therefore the ultrasound scan picture reveals the gender

I don't really have any support information, but many medical people told me that having too much ultrasound could cause your baby to go deaf. Because the soft waves from the ultrasound bounces back and forth and he's inside. So I guess you better wait when he's fully developed. I mean, it's also good not to know the gender so that the excitement is there. Plus it's only advisable to do ultrasound per requested by the ob-gyne. =)
