Larry Bird vs Michael Jordan

Larry Bird is probably one of my favorite players of all time, and the way he and Magic transcended the game of basketball in the 80s was really an amazing thing, but if you want to know who the BEST basketball player of the two is, then without a doubt I have to say Michael Jordan. He is the best player of his era. Magic Johnson and Bird both deserve mention. I don't doubt that Lebron MIGHT one day be mentioned in the same breath. You can go back to both Kareem and Bill Russell and toss them into the hat, though Russell was significantly before those guys so it's tough to equate him in the discussion.
