I agree with you 100%. I have been reporting these abuses, but it is discouraging. It seems that nothing changes, even with the users who are doing this consistently. Maybe it takes MyLot a while, but I think that these people should be warned once, and then deleted from the system. If the administration were to aggressively weed out the nonsense and game-player, we would have a better discussion forum, and they would have a much better target audience for their advertising revenue. It's a win-win situation! I support reporting abuse.

I have no problem reporting abuse and have already done so on a couple of occasions. I am really interested in discussion and reading other people's opinions as well as sharing mine.

It does really aggrivate me to see people posting discussion or responses that require a simple yes or no or one word answer. I really think about what I am going to say andtake my time sharing it.

I guess that is the difference between people who are here just to make money and those who are here for the discussions.

Mylot has the rating and report abuse buttons for a reason. I think we should all use them as they were planned to be used. I do know that the two posts that I reported were removed because I went back to check.

It is a long process but I think if everyone uses those buttons as they were intended we can help mylot become something great in the future.

a discussion can be serious, or done for the fun, to make time seems shorter or to have the chance to talk with people different every day instead of staying all day and every day at home with the kids....
Subjects should be as different as people can be and everybody will be happy having the discussion he wanted to...

I can't believe the gall of some of these posters copy and pasting in the SAME discussion! It's not only rude and lazy but it's cheating the system and the members who are taking the time to think and type out their response.

I have also noticed (and reported) a few people who post the same response, literally, thousands of times in one discussion... that's ridiculous! And what about the losers posting "don't know" to tons of posts? What's the point? One of our "Top Users" today is doing just that! They only joined like three days ago and have a rating of 1322 already. I have been posting for months now and still haven't reached that amount : )

I will continue to police myLot, in hopes for more quality responses and discussions.

Sometimes it's hard not to say the same thing as someone else when there are hundreds of responses ahead of you. Can you really read all the responses before responding? I usually try to only respond to discussions with a few responses first. I try to rate "one-worders" and "I agrees" negatively. If it is absolutely copied and pasted, even the spelling errors, I do the whole reprt abuse thing.

I think we should report those who abuse

i always report abuse, love me or hate me for it i care little. Whatsmore i will continue to report it as i believe it is the only way to clean mylot up
