Scary Games

I played fatal frames some years ago and didnt really like it. I think silen hill has spoiled me as far as spook factor goes.. I have never heard of rule of rose can you tell me what console its on so I can look it up. I think silent hill not only has the graphics right but the psyc. antisipation right to.
I liked resident evil 4 the best as I thought the people not being dead but more like the texas chainsaw massacre people and that was unique. I actually bought it used for christmas on the cube. I have been looking for it for a year to buy used and I dont know why it was never in on ps2. I rented it the first time.
Anyhoo thanks for the info if you could tell me more about the rule of rose I would love it.

For my self Fatal Frame 2 was a great game, also the add to play it in first person sight was awesome, not to forget the bonus games.

I watched my brother play Fatal Frame and I thought it was freaky. There is this part where you see someone playing music behind a paper wall. The music is off key and then the girl vanishes,you'd have to see it to understand. I think there is 3 of those games now. I also want to play Rule of Rose and have you guys heard of Haunting Ground? I think that looks cool. Also those Resident Evil Outbreak games,even if they aren't that good.

I am playing rule of rose now. (well when I can keep my hands off guitar hero 1 & 2)
anyhoo I like it but it is a bit slow the story line seems to be going somewhere and lots of puzzle solving the good kind where you cant move on unless you've found specific items.
I have not heard of haunting ground. You have me curious what is it about? Do tell.

If you havent played Fatal Frame 2 and 3 you DONT KNOW what a Horror Game is!!
It made my blood freeze,especially playing alone,at night !! I started Rule of Rose,it is scary,but I think it's for little children .In all other games the fear is lessened by the fact you have a WEAPON . In Fatal Frames you can only TAKE PICTURES or RUN AWAY!!!

I would like to know about the Vampire Casino detective game. I am always looking for new games to spook myself. I am glad I am not the only one who wants to play demented things.. LOL I sometime think at 33 I am to old for this gaming thing but then again maybe I'm not.

Fatal fram wasnt my favorite though it is recommended a lot. I agree they do not make them fast enough.

I liked silent hill 4 the room. It was different than the first 3 by far. You kinda felt better when you could get back to the so called safe haven of your apartment after being out in the subway from hell LOL.
I think though its silent hill 3 could be wrong but its the one with the amusment park and you have to walk through the haunted mansion ride. EEEK. That one was great too. But then again when you walk in the prison and you hear the moaning aakk that gives the adrenalin rush you wait years for in these games.

It's sad,I played SH 4 maybe 6 times to only get 2 of the 4 endings. Oh well,maybe I'll watch them on youtube. I really liked that game. I think it looked a lot like the first one. One monster I thought was weird was a tall whitish creature that made burping sounds when you hit them,and Richard Braintree (or whatever his name was)is the scariest guy ever!!I really liked the second SH and the haunted house from the third one was my favorite part,very realistic and creepy.

How about resident evil 4? That one freaks me out too as its like texas chainsaw masacre village with creapy people and chainsaws and eek... I hate that the people in RE4 can run at you. I get scared and cant aim my gun well and end up using way to much ammo so I run out just when I need it most LOL. However you can hear some of them before you see them and that helps too. You need to get your Cube back for this one.

I have played the Suffering as well, both the parts . And have put an end to both of them . It is a good game 2 ..

The thing with the headphones and mothers from behind is the worst while you are playing a spooky video game.By the way,have you played FEAR?

I rented an played the first half of the first suffering game. It was pretty good. I hate getting stuck but thats what the web is for in my case I love it.

This is another game I have played so many times and only got 2 of the 3 endings. I played it 8 or so times and then I finally got it. My brother brought this game home one day and I thought it was so cool. When you answer a phone someone says Seven Days,like in the Ring. I think I played the second one three times,I thought that was a pretty good game too. The fat bad guy was so creepy.

I dont think they made FEAR for the PS2 or xbox did they? They gace that good one to the newer systems I think. I want to play, it looks great on the commercials. I dont have newer systems yet they charge to much at release. I wait untill the $$ comes down and the bugs are out.
I will keep this game in mind though.

I did get the Rule of Rose that was recommended in an earlier reply. The game is not as spooky as I would like but I am playing to see where the story line goes. If anyone know keep it a secret I want to see during game play.....
Its different and I have jumped a few times but in general it is somewhat a boring game with lots of walking to find random items with the dog. I do like the story and graphics and the other spooky red crayon kids.

Origins look fantastic I can wait to put my PSP to some good use...
The trailer looks awesome and the music is terrifying.. YAHOOOOOOO..
I hope it gets released in Feb soon.

I bet if I had a psp, Silent Hill would be the only game I buy for it. There is a game called Hotel Dusk:Room 215 and the box art reminds me of silent hill.

I will need to look that up too. So many scary games so few hours of darktime LOL.. Got to get on with that. Thanks

Darn that game hotel dusk is for the DS and that is the one system I do not own... aside from the PS3, the Wii and the 360 which I dont buy those untill all the bugs are gone and the price comes down.
Long wait but worth it and since I own everything else they make good trade ins for more discounts yeah.
