We are fade up with the age old form of protests like street blockage, barricading and calling on Strikes and Bandhs exibited by Political Parties from time to time to draw media attention to certain issues. Such activity which jeoparadises the routine life has lost public support long ago. Political parties must chalk out new form of protests that will not disturb the common people's life in the year 2007. I think that should be the new year's resolution for all the political parties.

Probably, just like you, most of the common people will think so, anyway, I am absolutely hopeless regarding the activities of Political Parties in this regard. They come up in the streets obstructing people to continue their routine life for rather non-serious issues. That shocks everybody.

I don't agree that people's convenience should be paramount. When terrible things are happening you *want* to inconvenience people, to get their attention, to shake them out of their complacency. I read an article once that suggested that if war protesters *really* wanted to get attention, they should all dress in identical uniforms and march in unison. You have to admit, it would make a pretty strong impression.

Thanks for your reply. It becomes annoying when political parties come up in the street for trivial issues. That's what I pointed out.
