 Here in the Philippines, most of the computer rental business earns money a lot because of those online games such as Ragnarok, Warcraft, Ran, Tantra, among others. And to my surprise, even children as young as 8 or 9 years old or even younger knows how to play those online games. They don't spend their money during their recess time in school, instead they will save it so that they can play after classes.They seems to be very "addicted" to those online games.
I myself plays those online games but not to be considered as "addicted" to those games.

I guess the reason children are addicted to these games would be their parent's neglect. Parents should spend more time with their kids. | 60. arleccio (389) | 3 years ago |  I play two games, Monstersgame and Knightfight... both are totally boring and I would have stopped playing them after only a few days if they had not the "clan"/"guild" feature which connects you to other players... so I would say I'm not addicted to the games but rather to my clan/guild as I can talk to them via our forums and chats even without playing the game...
But I can't tell you why children, especially such young ones would rather play computer games than hide and seek with real friends...
