Heart Shaped Locket...HELP!!  |

|  I just bought my girlfriend a heart shaped locket for New Years (just because...I'm cute like that), but The guy selling it never really gave me a great chance to look inside of it, but I KNEW it looked awesome outside, and I could put a picture in it. Now, I bought it and when I looked at it, there are TWO spots for pictures! I wasn't expecting that, but it's so nice!
So my question is, what kind of pictures do I put on either side? One of me and one of her? Or one of both of us and a little note/saying?
Also, how do you open a locket to place a photo in it? UGH! lol...please help!

| |  lol...your funny. The pictures have to be sooooooo small, which is the hard part. (trying to find a pic where u both fit) If you can, put one in of you and her and maybe one of her kids(if she has any) or a pet, or just another pic of you. If you can't find pics that will fit of you and her, just put you on one side, her on the other.
As far as opening it to put the pictures in, it should either have a little clip, or just pop out, be careful not to break it!!

| |  I would go with a pic of you and one of your girlfriend. As noted already, finding a pic small enough will be the hard part! There is usually a place to slip the pics into.

| |  The pictures must be reduced or they have to be cut out of a photo and unless there is glass over each side of the locket you just glue them in. Otherwise you remove the glass like you would a watch face. That sounds like a great gift and an appropriate time to give it at the new year! You are quite clever huh?

| |  Who did you buy it from that he wouldn't let you look inside? I wouldn't have bought it from him, might be stolen. I think a lot of times a jeweler will help you put the photo in, but that's quite often if you buy it from a jeweler.
