What are everyone's current projects that they are working on?  |

|  I have 2 right now. I am working on a lapghan. It's all burgundy and and it has about 200 stitches in it, double crochet and it's coming along quite nicely actually. My other project is one for my husband. It has a lot of different greens in it, it's his favorite color. It has 500 stitches in it and it's HUGE!!!!! I'm not done with it, but I'm still chugging away at it. I really can't tote it around cuz it's that big, but I work on it at home.
So tell me about your projects. Any kind and size and color. I'm curious

| |  I am working on an intricate lacy baby blanket. I found the pattern a while back and decided recently to make it just to see how it looks.
I also bought a booklet with bookmark patterns and I'm going to try some of them too.

| |  I'm needing to finish a baby bib and weave in ends on it and another like it and baby washclothes. After that I'll be making a dishcloth and then maybe get back to a sweater I started for myself. If not, I'll likely be making another afghan.

| |  I've been crocheting on and off for years now. I don't consider myself a profession by any means, I can't do any fancy stitches. But I got started back into crocheting when the babies started arriving. Not mine, the grand babies. Now everytime someone has a baby, I do a baby afghan. Some are more of my favorites than others. I did the ripple pattern for years, but now I'm trying different ones, some were so hard that I won't do again, ha ha. But I'm enjoying it. It's therapy too. I have a rare cancer and have had many surgeries, crocheting helps me to unwind and helped me through the healings. I love it!!

| | I just taught myself the ripple pattern tonight. I'm so excited and proud of myself. I actually sat down with a book in my face and with my roll of yarn and just did it. It's coming along and it looks pretty good. I'm just very proud of myself. Of course I can't just have 1 project going. I also started on another blanket for my husband, it has the Orange and Blue in it for the Bears colors (Chicago Bears). He's the biggest fan you can imagine. But he's so excited about it. In fact, I am going to try and get him to help me make it (he just doesn't it know it yet :) ). He wants 500 stitches and for me to make it HUGE! So I told him that I'll work on it, but I want some kind of help and not just the moral support either :).
I'm just so glad that crocheting has helped you through your process. I know things in life can be so difficult and it really helps to have something that you enjoy doing to make the time pass. Good luck with you. I really sincerely hope you can get cured of it soon. | | | |

| |  I have a couple of projects going right now. I am currently working on a crocheted animal,if you want to call it that. I only have the body, an arm and a partial arm done. I am also working on felt wrist cuffs for my daughter. I started doing this as a way to learn how to sew. I'm not using a pattern from this just ideas I saw on various DIY shows.

| |  I´m currently working on a variety of projects! One is a mini-granny square afghan for my baby who is due in May. It´s a delicate blue blanket. Another project is making a bunch of simple nylon handbags with Omega thread. I recently got an order for a bunch of them, so I´m busy with that and designing a new style of handbag using black cotton thread to crochet a series of flower designs to be sewn together later with a satin lining.

What you do is you skip a single crochet then work a double or triple crochet then you go back to the skipped stitch and work a double or triple crochet then you chain one I think it is. I haven't worked on it in a week or so.

| |  I've been working on a thread crocheted bedspread, from a reproduction of a vintage pattern. I collect vintage patterns. Love the old stuff. I also have a scarf in progress, but I ran out of yarn. It was my first attempt using Fun fur. Maybe I'll finish it next winter. I also have a doily in progress, another vintage pattern. How long does it take you to crochet a lapghan?

| |  I am currently trying to finish a ladybug teapot in counted cross stitch
Unfortunately I have not been feeling well and the meds are kicking in and making me sleep more than I usually do.
So I have not done as many stitches as I want to do.
But I am gonna get off here and go pick it up for a bit
have to go pick my son up from work so you have just encouraged me to go stitch for a bit!
