When you hear the name Jesus Christ, what do you think?

I think of Jesus as a compassionate, loving man who come to this world to save all of mankind forever. He is a wonderful man and a Savior, and I can't wait to be with Him in all His glory!

My saviour. I know I can do anything with Him to guide.

i think of a song we used to sing as kids it goes like this:

"Jesus christ, super star, came down from heaven on a yamaha,
did a skid, killed a kid, landed up in a dusbin lid"

it is funny but on a more serious note it was only a song someone made up. i also think of the film dogma as he is promoted in that film, not a good example of Jesus christ of course but it gets put in my mind if he is mentioned.

whenever i hear the name jesus christ i assume that something has gone wrong for someone and they are in public or do not generally swear, it is not uncommon to hear people yell his name if they hit their thumb with a hammer

Powerful and convicting. "God is with and within us"!

There isn't one single thing really. There are many. I find it difficult to put into words - he is the cornerstone of my faith - and he provides me great peace and comfort. Perhaps then - that is my first thought.

I'm not a Christian, nor do I consciously think about him except if I'm at the Church; but the first thing that comes to my mind is his image, the cross, and the image of Madonna with baby Jesus. I feel peaceful.
