What Kind of Peas Do You Like The Most?

I love peas and will eat most all of them. It is always hard for me to decide which kind I like the most. I like purple hull and crowder more than early or black-eyed. I think purple hull may be my favorite. These are the only ones I think I have ever eaten. Do you have different kinds you like? Which is your favorite?

crowder peas here! I miss fresh ones :) My grandfather used to always have a garden. Oh well...those were the good ole days...shelling peas.

Early june peas are the sweetest. Mix them up with onions to make an egg omelette.

I think I have eaten all of them but I don't have a favorite. I enjoy peas but I like beans more.

Green peas, just like the ones shown in your picture. Those are my favorites. Let's have some - fresh or frozen, but I'm not crazy about the canned. When they are hot, melt some butter on them.

I also like purple hull peas, but I only enjoy peas if they are coocked in rice, I mean as a pea-rice dish

I like black eyed peas the best. We use to have them about every day growing up and I got tired of them but now that I don't have them that much I enjoy them again.

I like snowpeas. I like chinese food and stirfrys with snowpeas. I like all peas but they are just my favorite. I could eat tons of them and be happy.lol

can I claim Goober Peas as my favorite? (The peanut) I pretty much like all legumes I have ever tried.... the fresh sweet sugar snaps are nice especially when young and tender snow peas are delightful as well

Peas are my new obsession! I think partly due to me being pregnant and having cravings for odd things. Anyway my favourite are the sweet baby peas. I just buy a packet of frozen baby peas and they taste sooo good! I honestly didn't think there was different types. Must be because i'm in australia.
