Has anyone here ever returned to college in their 40s? If so, why? What did you study? How was the experience? Was financial aid available to you? Please share your stories.

Well, I returned to college at 35 because I was offered free classes. I am a registered home daycare and the local Child Care Resource and Referral office offered to put me through early child development classes at the local college. This was done at no cost to me and I even received a stiphen each time I completed a class. You can't turn down free college.
