Violent protests in India after execution of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein

Bush was unhappy about the cell phone video showing Shiite guards poking fun at Saddam during his execution. In India however Muslims took it a bit further then just expressing sentiment. In India's majority Muslim state, Muslim protesters threw heavy rocks at police in Srinagar after Friday prayers. Police responded with the use of tear gas and batons to control the crowd. These protests have been going on for days. The protesters were chanting anti-American slogans and torched effigies of Bush. In Agra, Friday, two men were arrested for allegedly throwing stones at tourists. Police said this was the second incident like this since Saddam's execution. One tourist described her situation as "in great danger" after a man threw a brick at her car while she was stuck in traffic in Agra. I am glad that I didn't hear about any deaths related to these incidents. Do you think this paints a picture of Islam as a "religion of peace"? What do you think about this and how does it make you feel?

They should not have made fun of him in his last moments that shows immaturity and should be condemned. That just goes to show the morals of some people. To poke fun at someone with a rope around his neck is low. I don't care WHO he is he is going to die why not just be a decent person and let him die without taunts?
