Everyone has a specialty they make with hamburger. Share your recipe here with us!
Mine is below:
Hamburger Noodle Casserole
1 pound hamburger (browned and drained of grease)
1 pound wide egg noodles (boiled and drained)
2 cans cream of chicken soup (condensed)
1 can water
salt & pepper to taste
Put all ingredients in a dutch oven style pan, place in PREHEATED 350F oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
Serve with a crusty bread and salad for a complete meal!

I don't like ground beef dishes; ground beef in them has a disgusting texture and tastes like cardboard. I only use it to make hamburgers on the charcoal grill. I also detest recipes containing canned soup. So I don't make casseroles.
I do like Italian meatballs sometimes, especially in italian wedding soup or meatball sandwiches, however.
To make Italian meatballs:
1kg/36 oz. mix of ground beef, pork and veal
100g/3.5 oz. freshly grated pecorino romano or locatelli
100g/3.5 oz. fresh spinach, cooked and minced
5ml/1 tsp. oregano
100g/3.5 oz. fresh soft bread crumbs
SAlt and freshly ground black pepper
Combine. For wedding soup, make small (about 1cm ciameter) and simmer in chicken broth with chopped escarole.
For sandwiches or spaghetti, form large balls (4-45cm) and simmer in red gravy.

I dont have a recipe per say, but i do have a way i LOVE to make it.. I take some hanburger, and fry it up, and add all the spices i like, to each their own taste.. and when its cooked i had some BISTO, i dunno if you have that there.. its a gravy maker, and its DELICIOUS... and i make gravy in with the burger, and serve it either on rice, potatoes, or even as messy sandwiches on bread. Mmm. That or hamberger helper, they are all pretty good, i like the stroganoff one and the chilli ones the best though. mm i'm getting hungry again!!

Ooh, yum! I think we have something called "bouquet" that might be similar or even just a brown gravy mix might work? I'll have to play with this idea and see! Thanks!

I find I usually am always using ground beef/hamburger for a lot of the dishes I make around the house. I find ground beef to be rather inexpensive, but also very easy to deal with when cooking.
It's a rather convenient meat for me as well as I find it doesn't take all to long to cook. I included a recipe below that I enjoy making quite often around our house. I hope if you try it you end up enjoying it just as much as we have! . .
Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
"CheeseBurger Bake."
Ingredients are as follows:
- 3/4 cups of chopped onion
- 1 lb of lean ground beef
- 1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup (11 ounces)
- 1 cup of green giant frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/4 of a cup of milk
- 2 cups of original bisquick mix
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (4 ounces roughly)
Directions are as follows:
- Firstly preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Then generously grease a rectangular baking dish, roughly 13x9x2 inches..
- Then cook the ground beef, as well as the onion in a 10 inch skillet over medium heat. Make sure to stir occasionally, at least until the beef is brown. Then drain excess fat.
- Afterwards then stir in the soup, as well as the vegetables, along with the milk.
- Then stir the bisquick mix & water in to a baking dish until moistened. Then spread evenly.
- After this then spread the beef mixture over the batter. And then sprinkle with cheese. Then bake for 30 minutes. Then serve & ENJOY this yummy dish! xx
Another dish that I quite enjoy making that I will pass along would be.. The famous sloppy joes. All you need is 1 pound of lean ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 of a cup, then 1/3 of a cup of chopped celery stalk, then 1/3 of a cup of ketchup. Then 1/4 of a cup of water, 1 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce. 1/2 of a teaspoon of salt. Then six hamburger buns, split as well as toasted.
After you have all of your ingredients together.. Cook the ground beef along with the onion in a 10 inch skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally, until the beef is browned, then drain.
Stir in the remaining ingredients you have, except of course the buns. Then cover & cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or at least until the vegetables are tender. Then fill the buns with this yummy mixture. It's a great convenient dish to make & I always am looking for new ways of making sloppy joes. I hope you enjoy if you decide to make this dish! xx

If on a low budget, this is what i make it really looks gross but it tastes good, it is a pound a ground hamburger, a can of young peas and a box of mac and cheese and just mix everything together.

I like to make a meatloaf or a shepards pie,
sometimes I will make a cowboy pie which is basically the same thing just with baked beans in... (see below)
500g (1lb) minced beef
1-2 onions, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 tsp. marmite (for Brits; vegemite for Australians; ignore this for Americans!)
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tblsp brown sauce
1 medium can baked beans in tomato sauce
1 kg (2 lb) potatoes
milk for mashing
Salt + Pepper to taste
Method:
Peel the potatoes and chop into medium sized pieces, then boil until soft.
Drain, then mash thoroughly, mixing in sufficient milk to make a smooth consistency.
While the potatoes are boiling, heat the mince in a pan with the onions, stirring until the mince is browned and the onions translucent. Add the rest of the ingredients, other than the baked beans, and stir gently until just boiling. Simmer until the liquid is reduced, then stir in the baked beans and put the mince mixture in a large ovenproof baking dish.
Top with the mashed potato, and run a fork over the top to smooth it down and leave a pattern. Place in a fairly hot oven and cook for at least half an hour or until the top of the potato is crispy. If you like it very brown, place under the grill for a few minutes but watch it the whole time or it will burn.

Mine is very easy... Hamburgers! Nothing beats a juicy burger made on the grill.... I add pepper and salt.. grill it up- and then top it off with swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo.. Dont forget the ketchup, mustard and pickles.. And my rul is the messier it is the better it is! You should see my daughter eat hers. We go threw tons of napkins..
But I do really enjoy hamburg or ground beef.. so I also like lasagna, stuffed shells, meatloaf, tacos'' the list could go on and on.

Try adding a packet of dried Ranch Dip mix to a pound of hamburger, nothing more. Grill that and it is to die for! No S&P needed.
