My best friend was a student at OSU, and my favorite thing BY FAR about Stillwater, is Eskimo Joe's!! We started a tradition several years back on my 21st birthday that on my birthday, we go to Joe's and get chili cheese fries and a mudslide! Now that she has graduated, we will keep this a tradition! Its a great family atmosphere, and great food too!!

Stillwater is my hometown. I never went to OSU but I sure do miss the campus! I used to hang at this little coffeehouse across the street from the firestation called Prana. It's been gone for years but some of my best memories are hanging out there having great conversations with anyone from high school students to college professors! I am so grateful to have lived there and met so many amazing people. I love Stillwater and miss is very much.

I went to high school in Stillwater when it was C.E. Donart. I graduated in 1979 and the went on to Oklahoma State to major in Business Management.

I think that Stillwater is a great community, but I haven't been there since 1989.

My Sister goes back regularly and says that it has changed sooooo much!

Maybe someday i will go back for a high school reunion or something.

I had heard. The last time I was there, the shopping area that had the Walmart in it only had a burger joint (I think it was burger king...but can't recall) There was an Extension Clothing store, grocery and a Drug store too.

Then there was the plaza that was near the high school, that had another grocery store, JC Penney, and at the time a TG&Y store. There was also a Wyatts cafeteria.

Wow...memories!

I lived in Parkview estates, which was on the way out of town..kind of parallel to the 77 drive in (which may or may not still be there!) I remember that there was a large manufacturer out there...I think that they built marine type goods. Oh well, thanks for the trip down memory lane!

jwfarrimond, My family and I live here in stillwater. We have only lived here for 2 years, but we love it, and call it home. I think Stillwater is great for families. I love the parades, they have every year, and I love the campus, it gives the town an atmosphere, that you don't get in alot of towns. There is always so much excitement in the air every August.

I went to OSU, and never wanted to leave the Stillwater area, although I did find myself exiled to the Cincinnati area for a few years. After 9/11 I returned to Stillwater to get a master's degree and now I'm living off of S. Fairgrounds road and commuting to Tulsa every day. These gas prices are helping me lose weight! I find that I don't get food for the road any more when I fill up. I think these little mom & pop gas station/convenience stores are going to hit harder times as gas prices rise.
