Are you going to get rich on the internet?

In the last two years my husband and I have spent about $20,000 on programs to make a living from home. Part of that was generated by the fact that he was out of work, and not even able to get interviews. We met some really GREAT people, and basically lost our shirts. This year, I went to a credit counsellor, and they told me we do not even make enough money to be counselled. I imagine we will declare bankruptcy. Last week a friend gave me a link to a book, and I bought it. It is an e-book, "Stop Being A Victim" I wish I had seen it BEFORE I spent all that money and charged all those leads, autoships, memberships, etc. on my credit cards. It is a good read, and easy to understand. When I bought that book for five dollars, as a bonus I got resale rights to it, and a membership in a business organization that sells digital products. Not bad for $5. The book itself was well worth five dollars. If you are at all interested, the link is on my profile. I do not know if I will work the businesses yet, but I would like everyone to be able to read the book.

The rule applies that if you have to spend money to make money, it is a sham. I know that I will never get rich from the internet. People need to be more aware. I am glad that you posted this GG. There are so many who fall prey to internet scams.

YOu know, even with that mantra running through my mind of never having to spend money to get a job, I fell, and fell hard. Some of it was my spouse's enthusiasm and some of it was mine. There is a difference between spending money and actually having a business, and spending money to support the people at the top. I know that was what we did.

sorry but that's not true yes you have to spend money in order to make money. Let's just say you have a business do you have to spend any money with your own business I haven't seen any body in any kind of business that made money without spending any unless you can get a grant or win the lottery You what I found out people just don't understand that's what it comes down to the light just haven't came on. There are alot of businesses that you can make money from on the net but there is also alot of crap out there so beware. what is a scam? spending money and getting nothing back in return or getting something that has no true value to make money with PERIOD.

A lot of things here are, in a way, a sales pitch, and the book would not necessarily help everyone. I have it available, but I will not twist any arms. There are lots of referral links, this one is not, it is straight forward. I bought the book, I get resale rights. There is a business also included for the $5. I do not know if it will be something I do, I am just using the information in this book to evaluate other opportunities I am being offerred here on myLot. Making money takes work, not luck.

We did not have that kind of money to ivest in either. That is why I wish I had had a chance to buy this book. It helps us see, looking back, why we were scammed, and how we need to work in order to make an income on the internet. The book was $5. I have a friend on myLot who suggests a goal to post a certain number of good posts, that will net me sufficient to pay for a small amount of business.

Gee! there are a lot of offers in the net that requires paying, good I do not yet own a credit card, so if that ebook is to be paid, even at a dollar, and must be paid through credit card. I wont be able to get it. Thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to earn on surveys, post like mylot and perhaps reading mails on the net.

I do not accept credit cards, just paypal and e gold. You should not spend money that you will have to pay interest on.

I have tried to make money on the 'net' now for over 10 years with very little success. I mainly want to earn extra money to help my son, CJ; give him a life that he really deserves. I make a few cents here and there; one site I belong to actually pays me automatically every friday via paypal and I've tried to make more money with them throughout the week but when friday comes, I usually receive around 30 cents. That doesn't add up very fast but at least it's something. I tried something last year, thought I had researched enough; even got the go ahead from hubby. Long story short, ended up losing our life savings. You have to be, Oh, so careful. 99.9% of these things are scams! I was so scared that I thought my husband was going to divorce me over it. Praise God, he still loves me!

Hubby and I were equally responsible for our monetary losses. We are benefitting from the book I bought. If nothing else it dampens our impulses to jump into something we hear about. I am not sure what we will end up doing. I have resale rights on the book-and it only cost me $5. I have a few friends here who seem to be successful, and I am trying to learn from them.

While he was out of work, my husband worked very hard. He purchased and sent out leads, and sent personal letters to his downline. We ordered postcards for one company and paid for the stamps and for the labels and addresses to send them to. It just does not work for the guy at the bottom, it only benefits the people at the top.

In truthfulness, I do not think most people will get rich on the internet. Only the people that are selling the tools to get rich, get rich. I don't spend any money to purchase anything to make money on the internet. I am sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope things will work out for you. Blessings.

I don't think you we can get rich on the internet if we are just working here in mylot. Maybe we can get rich if we create a site like myspace and yahoo lol!. I don't even think there's a real job online. It's hard to find. The easiest ones have are usually scams.

myLot is actually helping me budget. I have that and some other things that I do that pay into paypal. To me, that money does not yet exist, so I will be able to save it for my goals. The other thought is that I know I am earning enough to pay fees for a program that is doable for me.

No offense, but how did you lose THAT much? How far did you go before it occurred "wait, we haven't made any money off of this yet"? It would have been smarter to put that 20 grand into a CD or a mutual fund and grow it. Out of work for two years? Are there literally zero jobs in and around McPherson?

Thanks for sharing your story with me. It is an eye opener. Hope you can get back on your feet soon.

Do you think so? Have you actually found something that is going to make a living for you, and not die out when it reaches saturation?

You should take that book and declare it open source for all to see.

I should take what I have paid for and then just give it away? If it was worth $5 that I earned from myLot,for me to pay for it, it will be worth that much to others. Would you buy something just to give it away? If you tell someone something is free, then to them it has no value either. I do share ideas from it all the time with people. That is part of the reason I posted here. There are legitimate tips for people to read.

Oh, sorry to hear that you spend a lot of money online. I myself try not to pay any fee online. I am scared of the scams. I always try to research and go to different forums and ask on a particular program before I decide to be active in any money making opportunity. So far I've found three great programs, mylot and the other two sites on my profile. These three sites are all legit and all paying:)

Unfortunately some people expect to invest in a business and then wait for the return on investment without the work or knowledge on how to generate an ROI. Whether its a Home Business, Internet Business, Franchise Business or traditional business money is to be spent to start any business. Otherwise you then choose to work for those who have invested in a business to secure their financial future. Well what I'm getting at is there are scams out there but don't be naive to the fact that you can't start a business an make money online or where ever. If you or anyone is interested in an internet marketing mentor and is willing to make some money online. I'll be more than happy to help you succeed online. Let me show you a business model that has made me thousands each month. Just visit http://victors.payitforward4profit.com for more details.
