|  I have three coffee makers in my kitchen.
1) Standard North American 10-cup coffeemaker with cone-style filters
2) Espresso maker with small metal filter, and 2-cup pot
3) Stove-top pot with handle to brew Turkish Coffee

| |  A difficult question for me that I don't like and I don't drink coffee. By the way I can make coffee at home in two different way. The first one is with the italian traditional coffee machine (moka) and with the coffee filter.

Normally at home i make Turkish coffee on a stove, this is the way i prefer
also I have some filetrs and when i receive visitors, i make it the cheap&fast Brazilian way, meaning that they just put the paper filter with the filetr holder on top of the termic bowl (termos?) and just pour the boiling water on top of it.

| |  I love coffee, but i don't have any coffee maker machine. I'd love to buy one actually, but i don't what kind. Which kind is the most handy and easy to use? All this time i always drinks instant coffees, but when i had the time to go out, i'd buy myself a caramel machiato, or a cup of freshly brewed cappucino...hmmm...delish

| |  If you just want to make plain percolated (filtered) coffee, then, I would recommend a Black and Decker or Mr. Coffee machine, and there are different styles and sizes to suit your life, so choose wisely...if you are really good at making different types of coffee, (like espressos or lattes) go for something that has the added parts. Good luck

| |  First off let me welcome you to my friends list. Now on to the coffee makers. I have a four cup standard, a 20 cup standard, an old electric polyperk and a drip pot that I heat the water to boiling and then pour it thru the fresh coffe grounds. And I am sure somewhere here, maybe on the top shelf of my pantry, I have a stovetop percolater. My pantry hides all sorts of things. But please, no quotes on that. I may have given it to someone.

| |  Wow, 3 coffee makers. I thought I was fortunate to have just one standard 12- cup coffeemaker . I enjoy coffee more these days and have often thought and Espresso maker would be good to have, nice to know that they can be smaller and not really duplicate what I already have . I guess didn't really answer your second question , but your comments inspire me to put an Espresso maker on my Wish list and do some research on which a model that would be most useful to me .
