Driving at Night...

I don't have any phobias whatsoever about driving but certain situations and conditions do make me nervous especially when other people on the road are driving crazy. I just try to exercise caution.

I don't like driving at night, cause I'm kinda night blind,but I do it if I have too. Try not to tense up,when you are passing a truck in the rain, it's better if you just stay as relaxed as you can. :o)

We do a lot of driving and sometimes it is unavoidable having to drive at night, so I am fairly well used to it but what I really dislike is when an oncoming vehicle does not dip their lights but instead has them on high beam and possible spot lights as well. Now that really upsets me as it blinds oncoming drivers and there are enough hazards out there without some idiot doing that. Cannot say much about driving in the rain as it is a long time since we have seen it here in Australia. LOL Just passing trucks can be a bit of a nightmare actually, regardless of the time of the day or night. In particular the road trains or b-doubles are worse than anything else, except perhaps for someone who is towing a caravan or trailer and they don't have sway bars fitted.

I do not have any fear driving at night. There was a time I enjoyed this more than the day time, because there was less traffic. Now I think everyone had the same idea, there seems to be much more traffic at night. The big trucks are the worse, I wish they would all go to sleep at dark so I wouldn't have to deal with them. You never know how long they have been without sleep or if they are tanked up on speed, so they tend to firghten me some. I just try to avoid night driving if possible.

I get like that also but then i just take a deep breath and know that i have enough experience to do it. Ny biggest fear at night is my fear of hitting an animal on the road!

I love driving at night, but not for exploring. I feel that driving at night can be a little bit more relaxing. The only time I tense up is when passing a semi on a curve. That bothers me during the day to and I don't know why

yaaa the night driving is very risky now a days as ppl don't use low beam while driving. And one is at risk while driving as it dazzle your eyes and confuse you and now even wheather is very cold and misty so i generally avoid driving at night
