I would have to say....my husband's feet! There's nothing else in the world like them, they're so bad I don't even know how to describe them!

I think the worst odor that I have ever smelled was at the bowling alley one monday evening during my summer league. This one guy came with a very serious case of body odor. It was absolutely horrible and had to bowl against him and his partner. It smelled like he had not showered in months nor used deodorant. I thought I was going to be sick.

Omigosh! I can't believe you started this discussion - Why you ask, because last week I was in line at our local Super Wally-mart to return something and this women was in front of me and the odor was awful, I just couldn't believe it and I was thinking she must be really sick or something, well she went up to the counter and put 3 jars on the counter that were labeled oysters and she was telling the lady that she had followed the instructions and this was what happened to them (this mush in the jars) and I kid you not, all of the cashiers almost at the same time were like saying "what's that odor" apparently it was "whatever" was in those jars. My stomach is jumping just remembering it -- and then there was that poor man that passed away in his apartment (he lived across the hall) and no one noticed until 2 weeks later - that was pretty rank too!:) Boy I tell you mylot is bring up alot of old memories, I haven't thought about in years lol:)

The worst odor I have ever smelled was people's homes that sat in water for one month after Hurricane Katrina. Between the mold, the rot, the putrid refrigerators, and the blaring sun just making it worst the only way for me to find some "fresh air" was to buy a mask. I used to have some turtles a while back and every three days they got fresh water. I still remember that smell, too.

The worst smell that I think I have ever smelled is a toss up. One was a huge pig farm that we drove by once. The stench was enough to keep us from ever driving that route again, and the other was a house fire that someone died in. The human flesh was unbearable. Never want to experience that one again.

The sewer, when it is stopped up. it really smells bad. I went to paymy insurance, and the building smelled
like a sewer. I ask the agent what was the smell, she said it was the sewer.

Some times I have to go into the next town to do some shopping. There is a very large mushroom farm and the stench is dreadful. I always have to try to remember to close the windows of my car and switch on the air conditioning as the smell lingers for a couple of miles. I often think that if I was to strike a match my car would blow up as it smells like butane.

OK Being a nurse there are a few odours that I wouldn't like to discuss on here lol. One of the worst I smelt was a piggery. It was the first time I had seen a piggery and it happened to be on New Years Day about 20 years ago. I was a bit hung over that day and it didn't help at all. Every time I smell pigs now I remember that day and the lurch my stomach did.
