Why wear wigs  

I think people wearing wig hair is hiding some thing in their life. I respect what they are hiding and thinking for the benefit of their own identity.

people wear wigs becuase they have the need for it. my friend wears wig because she got bald due to a treatment.

I wear a wig because I am loseing my hair, but I know some friends I have think it would be so much easer to wear one. I would have to agree it does make getting ready in the morning much faster as you don't have to wait for your hair to dry, I only wash my wig once a week, unless I've been to the bar, it smells after that! Also it makes getting ready for importent events much easer, when I was in highschool my sister did my hair while I drove 1 hour to get my nails done! my hair was done by the time I got back!

I think because they just don't feel like being bothered with their real hair so they buy a wig because they don't have to style it that much.

I am with you on this discussion. When I was in basic training i wanted to keep the length of my hair. However you do not get much time to do your hair in Basic.
So I got a wig and stuffed my hair up under it just for basic training in the Army.

However my mother had a beautiful head of hair.
I never understood why but she bought all these wigs that kind of resembled Lorretta Lynn's hairstyle.
Once she started buying these wigs I never saw my mothers real hair again.
I respected her privacy and never asked why. she is passed on now so guess I will never know.
