I am dying to see this movie, which is slated to be released on June 15th. You can see the teaser trailer here:http://www.fantasticfourmovie.com I was never really a fan of the Fantastic Four comics or cartoons, but since the first movie was made, I love them. I love comics made into movies and I'm really eager to see this, and hoping for more in the future. Tell me what your favorite comics made into movies are, or which ones you would like to see made into films?I would also love to see a good Wonder Woman movie made as well as more X-Men films, which could explore so many more characters like Gambit, who was always one of my favorites. (sorry, picture FUBAR'ed on uploading and ended up with the wrong one!)

No doubt you'll be seeing Spiderman 3 too! There seems to be a wealth of good films coming around this year, as well as Harry Potter's 5th film which is actually due out on my birthday! All the cartoon comic characters seems to be released on the big silver screen. I hope there will be an XMen 4 because that is the best of all them all. Fantastic Four was ok, but not the best for me. I know Inspector Gadget wasn't really a comic strip hero but he was one of my all time favourites, however the film did NOT do it any justice and picking Matthew Broderick as the star role, NO I didn't work and he was terrible.

You're absolutely right about Spiderman 3, but that's one I'll wait for on video. I can't wait to see the next Harry Potter film (and read the new book). I hope they have another (or more) X-Men too, as I hated the way they left X-Men 3. I did not like the way they handled the Phoenix storyline AT ALL! It was nothing like it really was in the comics or the cartoons. You're right about Inspector Gadget... the movie version sucked!

I think that there will be an X-Men 4, but it will take some time, after all there will be a Wolverine movie (with the same actor that played Wolverine in the X-Men movies, but I forgot his name).

Batman - Batman from Batman Begins
I didn't know about this one, I'll have to check it out. I loved the first Fantastic Four movie. I thought they did a great job on it. They are supposed to be making a Wonder Woman movie. I saw it listed in imdb.com. It was all unknowns that they had listed for the actors. I'm hoping it will be a good one. I loved the X-Men movies and Spiderman. Let's not forget Batman, Captain America and Superman. All of which were some excellent movies to watch. What can I say I love the movies that are inspired by the comics. I'm hoping that they do a lot more of them and that we'll see more of them. I heard they were doing another Batman movie, to take up after Batman Begins. I hope so because Batman is one of my favorites.

I too have the first movie on dvd and love watching it. I can't wait as well to see the sequel this summer as the trailer looked very good. I knew they would make another one but am surprised that it is coming out so soon. I will be there the first weekend it comes out. Thanks for the tip on the wonder woman movie. I would like to see that one too if they go through with it. The Superman, Spiderman and Xmen movies were all great. I liked the last Batman movie and hope they keep the same characters this time.

For sure my favourite one is Frank Miller's Sin City, 'cause it were completely loyal to the comic, and now I'm waiting for "300"'s movie. The second one in my opinion is Constantine, from the comic "Hellblazer", that, with some differences, but was quite loyal to the comic. Hellboy was interesting too. I have to admit I don't like the marvel transposition...it looks like Stan Lee and all of his time are out of their head. They're changing totally the original stories!!! About the movie on Silver Sulfer, oh....he is one of my favourite marvel character...and I'm sad, but I'm expecting they will ruin this character too....as I'm trembling waiting for the Symbiote in spider-man 3.....SIGH!

Comics turned into movies are turning into big money makers for movie producers. This is because comic book characters have become large iconic figures within our american culture. In as far back as 2004, Studios have come up with the idea of making a feature length film of Wonder Woman. Joss Whedon (director of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly) has been contracted to be the director of this film in 2005. All through 2006, screen writers have been struggling to a script that Mr. Whedon and the studio executives approve of. Last I heard, they have finished such a script in late 2006, and now feelers are being put out by casting directors for the lead role. Many fans and movie producers have expressed their opinions of who should be cast, Originally looking at Sandra Bullock, but also at others. So far to date, many actress have been suggested that are too many to name, but Mr. Whedon want to go with a rather 'unknown' actress. It was hoped by many that this movie would be released by 2007, but with the struggle of the script, and now contracting of the cast, shooting may not begin until summer of 2007, meaning that such a movie, if it does get made, won't be released till spring of 2008. Many people are eagerly awaiting this film, because again, Wonder Woman is an iconic figure in American culture. She was the first female superheroine to grace the pages of the comic book industry. As Superman represents of Truth and Justice, Wonder Woman represents Peace and Respect.

Have to say I am not much of a comic book hero fan .. they always seem to make the movies more as spoofs rather than straight movies .. but maybe I am a bit biased as it's not really my cup of tea .. I like the comic books though .. great reading ..

Really? I've found that most of them are legitimate efforts to transfer the stories to a new medium (from comics to film). I can think of only a couple of movies that came off as spoofs rather that serious films. Which ones are you referring to?

I did not even hear about this sequel coming out so soon and am looking forward to it very much as I just watched the trailer you mentioned and it looks great. I loved the original movie very much. I will definitely be seeing this movie. I am sure they will make plenty of sequels to this movie as they do for the other comic movies. I too would love to see a Wonder Woman movie and wonder who would play her if they do make one.

I've never read comics either but I enjoy the movies. I would have to say X-Men is my favorite. I'll be looking forward to seeing that movie too (F4). Since I really don't know much about comics I wouldn't really know what others I'd like to see as a movie. Something maybe like Wonder Woman where a woman kicks all the butt.

I wish they'd chosen a better actress to play Sue Storm, but I will be seeing the new FF movie when it comes out. My favorites are the first Christopher Reeve Superman and the first non-Adam-West Batman movies. The first sequels to those are good, but not as good as the first, and every other one sucked. I also liked Spider-Man but hated the Green Goblin's redesign. Hulk was OK, but it could have been better. The best Hulk was the old TV show with Bill Bixby, even though it was almost nothing like the comic. Have you noticed that a lot of the Marvel movies are based more on the Ultimate line than the classic comics?

The first part Fantastic 4 was watchable but not so good, but 2nd part Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer was quiet boring and I didn't like it all. I don't know why they even made the Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer ...
