I disagree. Myspace would not be anywhere near as popular as it is if it were a pay site. I most certainly would not use it if I had to pay for it. Kids do use Myspace a lot and do come across some really bad people on there, but everyone should not have to suffer for that reason.

It's unfair for you to assume that there are a lot of teens on myspace that are quote "looking at bad things and talking to bad people." I'm a teen and I go on myspace, just like all of my friends, and we don't go on to look at bad things as you put it, rather, its our way of communication. Besides, it is the PEDOPHILES that are crashing the site looking for victims. It's not our fault if sick freaks come looking for us for immoral purposes; no place is truly safe from these "bad people." And as Droddy and jeweledbluerose pointed out, at least myspace is working to protect their patrons, more so than I can say of many other online chatrooms.

How is myspace any different from a kid going into a yahoo chatroom or any other chatroom for that matter and talking to "bad" people there? Everyone wants to blame myspace and I think it's only because myspace is the hugest online community around right now and has gotten so popular. It's as if people think that all of the pedophiles hang out on myspace, lol! A kid can go into any kind of chatroom and end up talking to a sicko like that! Stop blaming myspace!

It's not Myspace's responsibility to control how teenagers act online. It's up to the parents to make sure they are monitoring what their kids are doing online. And I believe Myspace is already taking measures to make it safer for everyone. Although it's true no matter where a teenager goes this day and age online they will run into "bad" people. At least Myspace is trying to keep an eye out for pedophiles and those that are only looking to hurt children. Its a lot more than what I can say for other sites that I have visited and have seen a big gathering of teenagers.

I think myspace is stupied but,it is not thier fault. thier parent should be watching them a little closer. there are also parental controls
