Bulgogi  | |  Who doesn't love bulgogi, "fire meat", Korean bargeque! Slivers of tender beef, marinated and grilled at the table along with a bit of scallion, mushroom. slivered carrot. Restaurants have a place in the center of each table where the grill is lit for diners to cook their bulgogi. Korean families have a grill to set on their tables when they eat it at home.
Part of the pleasure is in how you eat it. Put some of the cooked meat on a leaf of lettuce, Add a sliver of raw garlic and some fresh hot pepper or a dabof hot pepper sauce. Wrap it up and dip it in a soy-based sauce. Eat it before the juices run down your arm all the way to your elbow! Of course, enjoy a bowl of rice and some soup with it. And some kim chis!
