What do you think? I think it's sad..

oh that is very sad, kids need approval and encouragement, I don't think some parents realize what their actions can do to a chils even small things.

Thats ahorrible way to treat a kid. Those parents obviosly have not realizedthat once they have a kid that their lives and drunken arguments are in the backseat now. That kid should have been praised for the strike and told to go get another one, then they could have continued their drunken fiasco . this would have at least made the kid feel good and put off the inevitable realization later that her parents were scumbags. I think I may have called the guy a name or two or maybe strolled by the girl and told her what a good bowler she was or something.

That is sad. They shouldn't even been drinking let alone fight in a public place. Those kids are too young to be bowling by themselves. Kids should never be left alone. And language like that should be not be used with children.

That's terrible. How awful for that little girl. It's very often that children like that whose parents don't pay attention to them often end up getting into trouble as they try to seek the attention they crave.

I can not agree with you more. Those parents need a good brain duster across the back of their heads! That child is not the reason for their arguing...it is their own pig headedness! The child should not have to endure their arguing and feel as if she has to fight for their attention.
It is just sad how some parents do not think about the kids instead of themselves!

I think that it is very sad. I hate people that even do that to anyone. It's crule and hurts soo much to the person that you are doing it to.
I know when a little child does something right, or does something great, you should make a very BIG deal about it. Not tell them to shut up, and get away. I bet that little girls heart was crushed. I would be upset watching that. Poor little girl.:( And your right, that might be what makes the world what it is today. But, sometimes they want to excel more than their parents did, so they turn out better than ever expected!!!:DD

That is so sad. So many children go unappreciated. It usually doesn't do any good to say anything to the parents though. It just makes them more angry and then the child has had to witness even more of a scene. You should have said (very loudly of course) "great job sweet heart, that was awesome" at least then someone would have noticed she did something great and maybe it would have shook up the parents.

Awww all she wanted was to tell them the exciting news. They should have been bowling with her and not drinking so much. As much as I would have wanted to say something I dont think I would have either.

How terrible. I'm glad it upset you that much because it shows you care. It's a shame that some people can't have children and if they did they would treat them like precious jewels. Then people who are lucky enough to have two wonderful children treat them like they are an inconvenience.

That is terrible, they should be more excited for their children they are setting a terrible example. I would have had a talk with them. It is wrong for any parent to argue out in public in front of their children. It can have a lasting negative effect on them and is setting a terrible example for their future. They will think it is normal to argue in public and ignore your child. They will grow up neglected and may do the same to their own children. People like that make me sick. They shouldn't be parents if they don't wish to show an interest in their child.
