How Long Does it Take You To Pick Out A Greeting Card?

It usually takes me a while to pick out the exact card that I like. Sometimes, it just stands out, and I hold on to it, check out a few more, and then, end up with the one that I liked first. When that doesn't happen, I end up holding about three or so in my hand, until I can narrow it down. It takes a while for me, because I also worked with greeting cards, so I know what would sound better, and I try to get the one that says the very best thing. Or, the one that says what I wanted to say, but didn't know it, until I saw the card.

I am very selective person and i select the perfect thing no matter what it is

I make a list of all the birthday cards that I will need for the year and shop for them all at once. I personally choose each card for the receipent. It may take me an hour or more to just get the Birthday cards. I keep a supply of thank you, thinking of you, sympathy and Sorry you are not feeling well cards. I choose nice cards becasue i know that i will want nice cards for the people that I care about. I buy all my cards at halmark. I love their cards.

It usually takes me forever to pick out a card for someone I actually care about. I love to read them all and then pick the one I thinks best fits the occassion. Cards are so great nowadays.

I always try and get one to fit the Personality and it can take me ages sometimes to look for one

I can usually pick out the perfect greeting card for someone in under a minute and a half. Why waste a lot of time on something they're going to throw out with the wrapping paper anyway?

It's a time consuming affair for me. I take lot of time to choose a card. Sometime if I am happy with the look, I will not like the writing under the card and vice versa. You can imagine the situation:).

I have actually stood for an hour reading over cards, putting them back and reading more, only to walk out of a store empty handed. I will go store to store in search of the perfect card. When I cry or laugh, I know it is right. Then I turn the card over and check the price and nearly faint. If the card is right, I buy it regardless.

It depends on the person I'm buying it for. I can pick out ones for my mom really easily but it's hard to find one for my dad.

Usually it takes me atleast 5 minutes to pick out a greeting card. Whenever I find one that I think suits what I'm looking for, I find something better and the cycle starts over again. I like to take some time picking out a card because I want it to be worded right and I want the person to know that I took time picking it out...that it meant something.
