Do you justify someone slapping Chappell?  

If that is true, it is disgraceful act by the Indian. He has no business to do that. The police should book a case against him and show him his place.

This should have happened that before, when Chappel expelled Ganguly from the team.

Well looking at the current scenario which took place betwn that person and the coach is really foolishness..... And atleast before lashing his frustation on guru greg he should have at least remembered his cultural limits!!!!

And for the reason on which he slapped chappel that none of the players of orrisa are selected.... before doing all this he should have atleast taken a look with the orrisa cricket team.....

And taking a look at the ways the selection is done in india he would have atleast justified himself.... Regarding this we all can think of his act done by just recalling the movie "Iqbal"....

But what ever done with the coach is wrong... If he would have done the same thing with the selectors then would have atleast supported him and enjoyed the brawl...

It puts India in really very poor light. Let us be fans, enjoy the game, and critic when the right thing is not done. This is not the way to retaliate.

The main culprit is the Indian security system. If such a personality could be easily hit by an unknown stranger, what kind of security we are talking about? Give sufficient protection to the teams and the coaches.

Everyone has a reason to take certain decision. Sometimes, it goes right and you carry him on your shoulders. If it goes wrong, you put him below your shoes. Let us give some respect to this cricketer. He is a legend. You like it or not, he is the Indian coach. So, better support him.

Slapping chappel will not help at all.THe board and the selecting panel is resposible for this you cant blame chappel for it.The first thing the qoute system should be abolished the best 16 or 15 should be selected without influence and biased thoughts.

Yes the person who has done this acted should be punished badly and media should show as much interest in telecasting this case after his punishment, as much they have shown till now so that the ruined Image of India can become O.K. again.

i think its a game played by political parties so im totally condenm the incident and want the authorities to take severe action on the person

i do strongly support your feeling. this type of incidents may not be allowed. its totally against of the real indian spirit. the man must be punished and also the security staff must be questioned how it became possible.

we are indians and we have a history of a civilised culture for far before than the other civilisations. if we study indian vedic littrature we find that it is all about the welfare of humanity, nature and all living creatures. we find that there is no place for hate in our culture. so this type of incidents really hurt the true indian spirit.

I feel it is very shameful & disgraceful act committed by the person who slapped Greg Chappell. And on top of that the right wing party he belongs jsutified by saying that it is reverse rasicism. And more it is learnt that some activists disatttracted police attention and this fellow managed to slap Chappel from behind before being caught.
This shows how ineffective our security system is. No wonder terroists strike at will anypart of the country nowadays. Besides i feel the culprits should be booked and tried in court of law.
I feel it has shown our great country in very poor light and it is a huge embrassment for all of us esp. sports lovers. I feel media, public should be proactive to ensure that it does not happen again.
