Are the days of "color" bound clothing gone?  

I think a man looks sexy in a pink shirt. Those that were purple catch my eye too. I tire of seeing men wearing the same old same old everyday. Society is changing somewhat that is. Women can now wear short hair and men can wear long hair. Now if men would only wear a kilt (skirt), I would be in heaven.

Nothing bad about wearing pink clothes. I think its good that people respect the new concept.

My grandfather, who died in the mid-80's, was a salesman. He often wore a light pink shirt with his suits because it was his favorite color! He was the father of 6 children, very active in the church and very masculine.
Ironically it wasn't until his death that my grandma was able to start wearing purple clothes again (my grandpa hated the color purple).

I think that some men can get away with wearing pink, but if they're not confident in it then they look silly! My husband would NEVER wear pink, but he does allow me to dress our one year old son in a dress shirt that has pink, blue and green stripes.

Hi! I agree, men can look nice in pink and yellow as long as the colors are tasteful and it works for the guy himself. I have to admit (I have some Scottish heritage, too, on my dad's side :-) when I actually saw a man all dressed up in a traditional Scottish kilt..... ummm, he looked mighty fine! :-) Nothing wrong with that, either! LOL

I can safely say you won't see me anywhere near a pink shirt. I didn't even like wearing a canary yellow dress shirt I had. I think most people accept it, but I'd still feel funny about it. It all depends on the person, I guess.

I think we have gotten passed it. There are more and more men that wear pink shirts. I work in a funeral home and one of the young funeral directors here, who is married with a child, wears a pink shirt with a darker pink tie occasionally. He looks very sharp in it!

The other guy here was teasing him about it one day and he said that as long as he felt confident wearing it, he didn't care what anyone else thought! His wife bought it for him and he was going to wear it.

I think we are getting past it, not sure if we have gotten past it yet. Some still refuse to wear them no matter what. My dad will wear pink or yellow, even purple. He doesn't care. So long as it looks good on him he's fine with it. He's 72 by the way so not a young man.

I think men in pink look silly. I think pink is a very feminine color, the color of a blushing brides cheeks, rose petals in spring, not masculine shirts. Pink is the color of pansies, and holly hocks,but this is purely my opinion, not ment to be in any way rude...I like browns, rich deep greens, navys, even a splash of white, or yellow...but pink...naaa

I have seen men wearing pink. My ex husband was not a fan of wearing pink though. He was a fairly traditional man. My current partner says that it does not suit him but if it did he might wear a shirt in that colour. It does seem the more modern men will now wear it but those who are traditional would not be seen dead in it.

Well, fashion trends do get around these days, I don't think they would mind anymore do they? It's silly actually to connect a color to one's gender. You can wear any color you like, as long as you are comfortable with it and doesn't look weird on you.
