Printer - Which is your favourite?  

i have an ALPS MD5000 and b4 that i had an ALPS MD1000. fantastic printers. they were discontinued cause there were so different that people did';t quite get it but amazing print quality and atonishingly flexible. photo qulity print on plain paper. metallic colours, white. such a shame you can't really get them anymore

Although I like to do my handwriting and correction on paper with an old fashioned fountain pen - the one you fill from and ink bottle - we use an inkjet colourprinter that also faxes, copies, scans. I am waiting for a printer that does the laundry and dishwashing as well ;-))

my favourite printer is HP.right now i have a HP PSC 1410.But i want to change it.i want to buy a better one from HP of course.

I like inkjet printers. I have a laser as well, but I hate how the paper comes out curled. And the color laser jets are still incredibly expensive. The black and white when we got it, was $2,000. The color aren't that much, but still they exceed the price of inkjets by quite a bit.

One thing I loved about my dot matrix printer that you cannot do on laser or inkjets, was making banners. You could just print off a continuous banner and hang it up (like for parties and stuff). On an inkjet, a lot of folding and taping paper is involved. I still have my dot matrix somewhere, but I don't have ink for it anymore.

I know some people still like Windows 3.1 though, so I bet some people out there still like their dot matrix printers, you can probably buy ink for them somewhere. A lot of offices still use those small dot matrix printers for making labels. Other than that, they seem to have lost their usefulness I guess. But I still say that they were very nice printers for banners.
