Do we have to patronize movies having visual effects like The Final Fantasy?

The graphics used in this movie made it possible to have a film requiring no real star to portray the characters and the effect is far more beautiful than a cartoon film. Do you think it's justifiable for our actors to be replaced by these graphical creatures?

I think actors shouldn't be threatened by these cgi characters mainly because people would always want to see their favorite stars. Stars that they can see in person and talk to.
