Anyone frusterated with the New ECW? |
|
Being a fan of the old ECW, I was excited when I heard WWE was bringing it back last summer.
But enough is enough. I find myself switching the TV off and going to bed after about fifteen minutes.
The ECW alumni are being made into jobbers, with the exception of RVD; and the rediculous new rules restrict half of the matches from having anything extreme in them at all.
Anyone else agree?

| icharest (21) | 3 years ago | Well, being a discussion, I guess I could discuss this.
Why make the suggestion that I need to go out and meet people? Why assume that something I make a topic about is what my life revolves around?
I could just as easily tell you to "Go get a real job" because it appears that you're only posting in here for the income.
So, why not.
You need to go out and get a real job, where you can meet nice, healthy people your age.

The problem is that current ECW Champion Bobby Lashley was made champ too early. Really, only one year in WWE and he's king of the hill already. Crowd reaction isn't too good either. They also have one hour. Lots of 5 minute matches with no 'extreme rules' completely ignore the old ECW. We need more coherency. More titles. More story.

Unfortunately Vince McMahon let other people get in his ear and discourage him, telling him Paul Heyman wasn't getting the job done. Since that point the show went very much downhill. Thankfully Vince McMahon has gotten wise and has started making changes that are bringing the show back up. ECW's ratings are on the rise again, and this past week's show was very good I thought. Certainly more entertaining than the previous night's WWE RAW on USA.
