I had never heard of a cowlick so i had to look it up and found... A cowlick is a part of hair that stands up without reason. Reading through articles it says... Many people find cowlicks to be extremely irritating, as they often conflict with the desired hairstyle. There are several methods of taming the unruly cowlick. For most people, a combination of the right hairstyle, length, product used, and styling technique can overcome the appearance. For people more serious about cowlick management, including celebrities, more drastic measures may be used. Electrology, waxing, and even cosmetic surgery can be used to more permanently correct the cowlick. http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip532.htm http://www.hairfinder.com/hairquestions/cowlicks.htm I have learnt something new, Thanks

Mine is right where I part my hair to the side. It actually works great for me! But with my hair being longer, you can hardly tell now. My son has it in the exact same spot but he doesn't like doing his hair. So, he has his hair cut military style...high and tight. My brothers have them also. I used to see my brother wet his hair and then tie a tube sock around his head to flatten it. LOL It looked really funny!

I had one many years ago. At night I would wet the hair and pin it with bobbypins. This took care of it. Now that I am older, my hair has that same trouble spot. But, I like it.

I Just cut it off. It'll eliminate your hair problems, than you have to give it hair oil.

My 5 yr old son has a big one right in the front of his head and the only way I can deal with it is to buzz his hair pretty short. I have one in the front of my hair, too...but I keep my hair pretty short and spikey so it doesn't show. My son's is bad, though. I cna't let his hair grow out any or it just sicks right out! LOL
