I mean the festivals that are especially celebrated in your country. In my country, BTW, i am in China. we have spring festival which is the most important festival,mid-autumn festival, and lantern festival. even these festivals originated from different stories. They are now almost all celebrated as a big time for family members' reunion.

Here in the US we have tons of them, by location. How ever the most biggest of all that most Americans celebrate, I would say is 4th of July. It's the day we celebrate Independence and Freedom. We have family cook outs, with tons of fireworks.

I am from Cebu, Philippines and we have a nice festival here named Sinulog. Sinulog is a celebration in honor of Sto. Niño. There are a lot of activities here during Sinulog, one of which is the remarkable street dancing of many dancers from different parts of the Philippines.
