1985 Chicago Bears |
| |
| We have the Chicago Bears in the Super Bowl again. But can they be compared to the 1985 Chicago Bears that were in the Super Bowl. The 1985 Bears were remarkable and to me made Chicago so exciting. Who could forget the Super Bowl Shuffle with Jim McMahon, Walter Peyton, Mike Singletary ? Who was your Favorite from the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champs ? | | | | | |

| | i dont think that this years bears are as good as the bears back then because they actually had a good quarterback and walter payton is one of the best all time but jones for them now is nothing and rex just plain sucks so i think the 85 bears kills them | | | | | | |

| | I really hope that Rex has one lucky fight left in him. It was not Rex's skill that got the Bears to the Super Bowl. Luck from Offense and skill from Defense got them there. I would get so frustrated to watch the Defense get turnovers and work so hard to return the ball back to Rex and the Offense and nothing happened. Win or lose Rex will have to find a new job for next Season. I truly believe after the Super Bowl Rex will not be a Chicago Bear anymore. | | | |

| | All I can say is at least they are not playing here no one would like to feel the 30 below windchill. I walked outside and turned around and went back in and said no way. I think the nice weather should be a fair play for both. Even though they say it's going to rain at least it's not going to rain ice;-) Go Bears Go!! And Cubs will you ever win??? | | | |

| | I think the only similarity between the 85 Bears and the 2006 Bears is that both teams made it to the Superbowl. The 85 team had talent and this current team... well, they've been very lucky and that can only count for so much. | | | | | | |

| | There will never be another Chicago bear team like the team of 1985. I was living in Chicago at this time, and what a team they were, and it is great to see so many of them in the Hall of Fame, and still making notice of themselves when they can. I Loved the Bears of the 80s, and am proud to admit I met Jim McMahon's wife. My favorite had to be either Mike Ditka the Coach, Refriderator Perry, or Walter Payton. But they were all good back then, and I wish they would show the Super Bowl shuffle sometime somewhere to bring back the Fun memories. | | | | | | |

| | No comparision!! Those guys back then were great!! Great offense & defense. I loved them all back then, but McMahon just took the spotlight, remember the whole acupuncture thing??? I remember there was a cartoon in the Trib on it lol. All those names from back then are just synonomous with great. I wish I still had that video of the Superbowl Shuffle, it was so tacky lol....My daughter wants to see it :) | | | | | | |

| | The most exciting would be William "Refrigerator" Perry...I mean how many 335+ pound football players can move like he did?? | | | | | | |

| | Boy that is funny. He is just pure muscle and that is why he can move like that. Too bad we can't have them all like that we would win all the time;-) Go Bears Go!! | | | |

| | When that Refridgerator Perry moved CLEAR OUT everyone. I was happy that he was even able to score a tocuhdown when they played the Superbowl. The Fridge was GREAT but I really was an admirer of Walter Peyton. I was crushed when he died. | | | |
