1985 Chicago Bears  

i dont think that this years bears are as good as the bears back then because they actually had a good quarterback and walter payton is one of the best all time but jones for them now is nothing and rex just plain sucks so i think the 85 bears kills them

I think the only similarity between the 85 Bears and the 2006 Bears is that both teams made it to the Superbowl. The 85 team had talent and this current team... well, they've been very lucky and that can only count for so much.

There will never be another Chicago bear team like the team of 1985. I was living in Chicago at this time, and what a team they were, and it is great to see so many of them in the Hall of Fame, and still making notice of themselves when they can. I Loved the Bears of the 80s, and am proud to admit I met Jim McMahon's wife. My favorite had to be either Mike Ditka the Coach, Refriderator Perry, or Walter Payton. But they were all good back then, and I wish they would show the Super Bowl shuffle sometime somewhere to bring back the Fun memories.

That was 1985 a whole diffrent team.
I wonder if they really will make it?
I doubt it but if it does great.

No comparision!! Those guys back then were great!! Great offense & defense. I loved them all back then, but McMahon just took the spotlight, remember the whole acupuncture thing??? I remember there was a cartoon in the Trib on it lol. All those names from back then are just synonomous with great. I wish I still had that video of the Superbowl Shuffle, it was so tacky lol....My daughter wants to see it :)

The most exciting would be William "Refrigerator" Perry...I mean how many 335+ pound football players can move like he did??

I remember Jim McMahon.He was my favorite.I think it was the last game I ever watched as matter of fact.I remember when they won.I was like 15 years old.I feel so old.
