I'm looking for something different to put on salads. I'm trying to lose weight, so the dressings I've been buying are really "vinegary". I'm not a big vinegar fan. So, is there something else I can put on a salad that tastes good, doesn't add too many calories, and is not vinegary. Thanks in advance.

Hey, thanks for the wonderful recipe. It looks really tempting and makes me want to cook it one of these days...as a matter of fact, I'll go and add it to my "to cook" list, cheers for sharing!

Use fat free mayo, and add some ketchup to it for french dressing. Use fat free mayo, and add some crumbled cheese to it. Good luck with the diet.

I always use low fat salad cream which is a great alternative, I don't diet, but I prefer the taste of the low fat one as opposed to the normal. Or, as said before lemon juice is ideal, it gives the salad zest and a mighty kick to it, especially over the leaves

I like extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs and spices. I like to add oregano, dill, parsley, a packet of splenda or sweet n low, and whatever else I may decide to throw in.

I use Olive oil and add some spices & herbs, usually parsely, dill, a touch of salt & pepper. Sometimes I change it up and add rosemary & thyme and garlic. Depends on my mood. Olive oil is great for you and the herbs are a wonderful addition.
