Is it the bed of your choice, or do you wish for something else? Tell us your reasons for your answer.
I have a tube type waterbed, Queen size and I love it. It is less wavy than the waveless, and looks like a regular bed, my dog can sleep with me withoiut fear of holes.

I have a single bed, but you can comfortably put two people in it. My room's not big enough for a bigger bed.

Our bed is only a double, which is a bit less roomy than we'd like... but it's an antique that I inherited from my grandparents, along with the two matching dressers. It's similar to a sleigh bed in that it has both a headboard and footboard and the whole thing is a solid wood frame. The mattress and boxspring drop down into the frame. So, we can't modify it (nor would we want to, given the age of it) but sometimes we'd love to have a queen or king sized bed. Vacations / hotels are great for that reason -- a chance to sleep in a really big bed! LOL :)

We have a double divan which is getting a bit old now. I have seen other beds that I like but I just don't want to part with the one we have now as it has storage the full length both side, also I don't know if I could give up my headboard either as it has lights built in to it which I use most nights for reading and it means I do not disturb my fiancé.

I did have a metal frame like wrought iron bed that hadf rails around the top for a canopy type effect. I HATED it. You could not sit in bed and lean up against the headboard.it was too hard. The bed would get wobbly and we would have to tighten the screws every few weeks. I finally used several blankets and a very nice comforter and padded the head board with them It was better to lean on, but did not look all that great even though the comforter was nice. and I do not even care to talk about the time my foot got stuck in the foot when goofing around and wrestling with the kids!
I would consult a wood worker and see if maybe there is a way to make the inherited piece lok better with out lowering the value. I would never get rid of my grandmothers bed if I had the chance, I would keep it forever and not care that it looked old, I guess that is the style for some anyway.

We have a fairly new mattress it's only a couple of years old, it's just that I have seen some really nice beds with metalwork type headboards if you know what I mean but I would miss the storage and my lights too much.

our first bed when married was one of the tube waterbeds I think the maker was Somma. We liked it very well for a long time, but after 17 years we decided to go with a coil bed. A furniture store was going out of business so we were able to get it for a "good" price. It still broke the bank. It is an England brand, and it is absolutely wonderful. We've had it for almost 3 years now and hope it will last another 20.

i am glad to hear you liked your tube-type. I like mine okay. It is comfy. I like to be able to move it to get under neath, and that is impossible with this bed!LOL
Beds, and mattresses are so expensive, even on sale. I would hope they would all last a very long time.

I have a double bed. It's a standard european version without a box spring. Instead it has slats that the mattress sits directly upon. Not very comfortable, thus the featherbead plunked on top of the mattress.

Oh tammy,a water bed..that's so sweet! I love water beds and hope to buy one some day. Right now we have a queen size mattress on a box, it is very comfortable and we've been using for over a year now. We bought it in Sam's Club which had an offer, you can return the bed anytime within 10 years and they will give you a full refund, cool deal huh?!:)

I use a king sized bed with a cushioned matterss.Neither hard nor very soft. Comfortable in all. This gives me a dreamless sleep and makes me wake up exactly at my time without an alarm.

I have a regular double bed, which is on well on it's way to falling apart. Ideally, I'd love a big, king size four-poster bed. I would like drapes that can be closed over the bed, I've always wanted a bed like that. When I was younger, I really wanted bunk beds - I think I've grown out of that though!

I absolutely love my bed. It's a queen sized pillowtop mattress from Springmaid. It is the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. My dad, when he visits, calls it the 2 minute bed...he says that you're in it for two minutes and become so comfortable it puts you right to sleep :).

I have a queen size bed in both my bedroom and my other bedroom in my townhouse. It is the standard queen size bed with no extra features but has medium soft mattress which has helped my back a lot. It is very comfortable.

I have a king size divan with drawers in it. I love it because it's a good hard, solid bed and is quite high from the ground. It's very supportive which I need because my back isn't great.

I have a regular box spring, mattress queen size bed. It is comfortable, but I've had a chance to sleep on one of those tempur-pedic ones and I can't wait for them to become affordable for me to have one.

I have a queen size bed. It's kind of on the firm side. I have back problems so the firmer mattress helps alot.
