| | My mum used to like a bit of Frank Sinatra on a Saturday evening but that was years and years ago .. personally I've never really been much of a crooning fan ... nor do I like jazz unless it's live .. | | | | | | |

| | I love Frank Sinatra. I can't get enough of his voice. I have many of his CDs and some of his movies (I think I've watched them all). I always recommend him to others and many think I'm strange because they think I'm too young to listen to his music. | | | | | | |

| | Some may not believe this, but my 25 year old daughter who is a music teacher now, when she was a music major in college, she loved Frank's music. She had some CD's with it on there. I couldn't beleive it. I think he's wonderful and ageless with his voice and style of music. | | | | | | |

| | I do! I do! He's one of my favorites. I've got in my collection some of his songs like "Fly me to the Moon". I love his voice and his style. I'm more into classical than this new wave things, lots of nonsense stuff. | | | | | | |

| | I love his song "My Way". I do like the lyrics and also his voice. It's so maeningful and can make me feel peaceful. Just see his lyrics on my way below : Regrets,I've had a few, But then again, too few to mention, I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption. I planned each chartere course Each careful step along the byway, and more, much more than this I did it my way... | | | | | | |

| | Oh yes, absolutely. For me, he is the greatest male Popular music singer of all time; no one can sing quite like him. There'll never be another singer like ol' Blue Eyes. | | | | | | |

| | thanks for the response man, I have not had a chance to respond to these. I enjoy lots of his songs and style, he was a real man... | | | |

| | He sure was; and so talented. Not content with being the single greatest male voice in 20th Century popular music, he was also a very fine actor. | | | |

| | yeah, he was a natural actor... did you ever see "Man with the Golden Arm"? what a cool movie and intense too, the character he played was trying to be there for the woman who needed him in a bad way, in turn he needed his drug. I am only 49 years old, but movies now a days try too hard to get the emotion across, so obvious. To me he is right up there with Picasso and Churchill for men of last century. I am not a prude with music, i like contemporary pop music too, but lately I have been listening to Louis Armstrong too. Hey where are you from? | | | |

| | Yes, I saw "Man with the Golden Arm"; incredible performance by Frank, very harrowing, especially the withdrawal scenes. I also very much liked him in "From Here to Eternity". You're right, he was a true artist. I think talent of that magnitude is hard to manage. I'm from the UK, which still boasts millions of besottedf Sinatra fans. Many still see him as the single greatest voice in popular music. I like Bing Crosby too; Al Bowlly; Nat Cole; Tony Bennett; but there was a special quality in FS's voice that even these greats haven't quite reached. Louis was great; I love his voice. I think my favourite ever female popular singer was Ella Fitzgerald. | | | |

| | Fran Sinatra is very special singer as for the reason he attracts to his songs listeners who are not very keen on this sort of music. I guess this is thanks to Frank's breathtaking and velvety voice tone. I would call his songs as very inspiring to positive view to life with sentimental touch. | | | | | | |
