when referring a friend at mylot, do you still brief them?

I didn't brief anyone. The friends I invited, only two joined and none are active. So, go figure it out. Getting active refers is a daunting task.

I haven't been able to refer people to mylot yet, but I would explain to them as much as possible about the way I think the rules are. I would tell them to also read the guidelines just in case I forget to tell them something about the rules.

I do brief them and also tell them to read all the rules and guidelines. I like to make sure that they are following the rules because since I refered them I plan on responding to their discussions and I don't want to lose points becasue their discussion got delelted due to rule breaking. I also actually like to respond to qualtiy discussions and if they don't read the rules, and then start non quality discussions I won't be responding to them. I think it is important for everyone to really get to know the rules and guidelines. I tend to go over the rules every now and then just in case there were changes that I didn't hear about.
