It happens to us all. Just try to focus on anything else. Take a shower, put on a nice outfit, read, post on mylot, exercise, anything!! Just don't dwell on it and you will be fine.

Don't laugh. I pull out the photo albums of my chldren when they were very young. It is such a joy to look at those pictures of them when they were so small. I have some favorites of course and I look at those first. For some reason looking at those pictures and realizing how wonderfully blessed I am, I snap right out of it!

I find that going to the gym helps me snap out of my mood, I go five times a week to the gym and once I've done about 1 to 2 hours in the gym, on the treadmill doing a 5km run, weightlifting and boxing, I feel altogether different and my moods has vanished. Works a treat and even as a man I have mood swings!

I guess it depends on what the bad mood is from. If it's just a 'generic' bad mood, I listen to some comedy (Dane Cook has me roaring all the time) or listen to some music that really rocks me out. Other times, if it's because of someone or something I just have to take my mind off it. I know that often just the sound of my ex-husbands voice can grate on me and make me want to kill. LOL Times like those I tend to either just go sit alone and read or listen to music. But my cure all is laughter, I turn on some Dane Cook and die laughing!

Ummm, good luck with that! Lol, just kidding. To be honest, I don't know. I have my 2 year old daughter here with me and even if I am in a bad mood she snaps me out of it pretty quick. Try listening to music that relaxes you and drink a cup of chamomile tea. That should help relax you.

Sometimes I can't snap out of it really. I often wake up in a bad mood because I have nightmares. Sometimes walking the dogs snaps me back to reality. I have a coworker that can read my mood, and he often tells me jokes when he can see I am in a bad mood, that sometimes helps too. BUt sometimes I just can't... it's OK to be in a bad mood sometimes.

i go out and get a breath of fresh air. If it won't do the trick I just talk to myself and take a bath.

a simple thing does it for me . maybe a phonecall from a friend or watching something that holds your interest on tv. i rarely stay in bad mood for long . i hate snapping at my family.

I usually try to get out of the house and do something different, even if its just taking the kids to the park.
Or I think about what is really important in my life and then it puts things in perspective.

Snap out of it? You mean you can do that! Truthfully, best thing for me is to just stay away from others as much as I can and ride it out - I do however tell my kids to "hug a tree". I still haven't gotten one of them to actually do it but it manages to get them laughing and seems to change their mood.
