Ideal Cookbook for newlyweds
My cousin is getting married soon. She has a problem looking for a cookbook because she don't know a whole lot about cooking. I can't help her either because I am also not good in cooking. Can you share a good cook book for her? Please post your replies. Thanks

I am answering this through email. So I am not sure what other replies are. I would suggest : Betty Crocker.
My step mother gave each of of girls a Betty Crocker cook book for Christmas one year. i still have that same cook book and use it til this day. I will also buy old cook books from garge sales. As they always have those old recipes you use to eat as a kid. But noone makes anymore.

Two suggestions for you.
If you want to just go out and buy a cookbook, I highly recommend Betty Crocker's New Cookbook: Everything You Need to Know to Cook. Not only does it have a ton of recipes, but also it explains common cooking terms and procedures.
When I got married, my family compiled for me a cookbook. They got an inexpensive photo albums (you can find them at any dollar store) and each member of the family wrote (or typed) a few of their favorite recipes on 3x5 cards. Even my cousin who doesn't cook participated by adding some food-related jokes and stories and a few recipes clipped out of magazines or printed from the internet. I treasure this book above all the others I own because these are all the recipes I remember from family get-togethers when I was a kid.

I'm going to have to suggest the cookbooks called "4 ingredients or less cookbook" and the "5 ingredients or less cookbook." Both of these have some great, quick, and easy recipes and are very good for people who do not cook much.
