They would be one of my favorites but if we have money and it is a birthday I would prefer to get one from a woman in our area who makes and decorates homemade cakes . She has a real gift for making them taste as good as they look .When she does them like this I would say I like the chocolate and the marble flavour equally .

Every birthday I've ever had me and my sister get together aprons and all and bake our famous cakes. I like the taste of homemade better, and its fun doing too.

| Ruralchook (362) | 3 years ago |  Oh ice cream cakes are easier than people think. They just take alot longer - as in a few days to get it right.
They mainly consist of a normal vanilla flavoured ice cream which is partly melted, you mash it with a potato masher to make it softer, add the other ingredients required, put it in a cake tin, then freeze it again.
When its frozen solid again (about 12-18 hours) you take it outta the freezer, run a hot cloth around the cake tin so it'll slide out of the tin, put it on a nice serving tray, refreeze for a few hours, then wella serve your yummy ice cream cake up.....
