The new dollar coins  

I will collect one of each of thm as i have with the state quarters. i dont really like the idea as i dont like carring change around. But as i get them might me a good way to save money. just put them in the penny bank they might add up real fast. I see where there will be 4 pres. out this year.

I have seen the new design. I think using the presidents will make them look more similar to the rest of the change we use. I don't think the new designs will make people use the dollar coins anymore. I like the idea they have came up with on saving money printing the paper dollar bills. I will be collecting the coins. As I enjoy collecting coins.

The new quarters, and the new nickels have been very attractive, and have provoked a lot of interest. I have seen some photos online of the coin with Washington. I know my husband is looking forward to the first release.

I actually dread the weight of the new dollar coins. I like to carry about ten dollars at all times in case of emergencies. Ten of the coins will be heavier to carry and also more awkward. Now I will have to add a change purse to my already crowded purse! I imagine I will get used to them over time. Change is always hard!

I have already gotten one and Im in the u.s. to. I already used it for something Im not going to save them. I really dont like them I prefer paper.

I dont like the idea. I like the dollar bill better. I dont like to carry around all that change.I have not seen the design yet.

I didn't even know about them. They sound like something that millions of people will colect, and therefore take out of circulation. Don't throw away those dollar bills just yet. I always wonder whatever happened to all the $2 bills they use to print?

i have never seen them but some people may think they are to heavy to carry about with them and I guess that men who carry their wallets in their hip pockets will cause a large lump or shall we be forced to use plastic?

I haven't seen the new design but I didn't like the last ones. They are too similar in size to quarters and I passed off way too many as quarters. I think they need to be larger and maybe a different color...gold? bronze? If they are going to be in regular circulation I will not bother to collect any.

I will probably pick up a few to stash away in my collection but I really don't understand why we keep tyring to bring back the dollar coin. People just don't like carrying around a bunch of bulky coins in their pocket or purse when they can just as easily carry around cash. I usually have some change in my pocket, but not alot. Just enough to cover any change on bills but the majority of my change goes in my jar, waiting to be rolled and taken to the bank. I don't think any half dollar or dollar coin will ever survive in America.
