In support of SWOLOW

I hope my friend doesn't mind, he's stating a group to bring back old English words so I've written this poem in support.
Hither and thither,
Whence and whither.
Where have these words gone?
No gamp, just a brolly,
a guerney's a trolley.
Wherever, whatever,
They think they are clever.
These words, they don't work.
An excuse just to shirk,
The writing of prose and beautiful verse.
So come and join SWOLOW
And let us all wallow
In the beautiful words of the past.
Let's rescue these words,
However absurd.
And back up our friend
The wise man.

Lovely. :)
What does SWOLOW mean?
And what about bringing back phrases like: 'Do I 'eck as like!' and 'It's a bit black over Bills Mothers' and 'you're eyes are bigger than your belly'?

Look at the answer I gave pumpkinjam and you will find out what it stands for.
That's a good idea as well, we'll think about that I'm sure.

That's lovely, can I join this group?
I like old words, some new ones are poop!

I'm sure you can, look for Desiderata and you'll find the original question.

Top of the class fellow SWOLOW member.
The wise man himself directed me to your discussion.
That was a brilliant poem.
