 This is the second time i started a discussion about country music and got no responses! Now I like all kinds of music but it seems as though on this site Country is not a popular one!

When I first started on myLot I asked a question about fibromyalgia and got, like 3 responses. I couldn't believe there was no one on this site, of the 50,000 plus people, who had fibromyalgia. Since then I have seen several people start discussions on fibromyalgia and get tons of responses. It irked me a bit but I think you have to build up your friends list in order to get lots of responses to discussions.

| 6. subtleserpent (5) | 3 years ago |  i like country music. and i also like other varieties of music. but i just think that c&w doesn't have the big international appeal as r&r or other various styles of music. there aren't too many international c&w stars. many years ago, olivia newton-john broke into the music world as a progressive country singer. even groups like the eagles were considered progressive country when they started. but to really break into the c&w arena you have to live in nashville and that can be difficult.

Though I don't get to listen to lots of country music from the radion because as you pointed no one likes it very much and most DJ's seem to stick to RnB and love songs but i do donwload country music and include them in my favorites.
