I have a lot of baby clothes patterns that I picked up at Hancock fabric for a out .99 each. I picked out the easiest to make. Even Wal-Mart has some cute patterns for less than $4 each that are easy to make.

It is very easy to sew baby clothes. The best patterns are McCalls and Simplicty are the best in my opinion. You can also reuse and make the patterns last longer if you lamenate them. I have done this and it is so easy. Walmart has the cheapest material around, and Joannes and Hancock have sales on their patterns for around 50-75 percent off. Hope this helps.

I have bought wonderful patterns from the thrift shops. I would look for ones that don't have gathering or alot of pieces. The ones marked easy or simple to sew are usually right. Shorts will be soo easy, because they have four seams max and the waist are elasticised. You can even get a pattern for pants and shorten it by checking it against the baby's legs.

You will have so much fun sewing all the summer stuff for the baby. I'm envious! Check the reminant bins at your local fabric shops. I have found them for as little as 55 cents. I kept my daughter dressed for years for as little as $10 for her summer and winter wardrobes.

i have never sewed any clothing for a baby either i have never even sewed any baby items but i do not think it would be all that hard to do since you are already used to sewing i think you would be able to find the best and easiest patterns from off of the internet i am sure that there are some free ones online you just might have to look around for a little bit first i know that there are some cute baby clothes patterns out there
