Is there a good online source for resume writing?

Either for ideas, review, even paying someone to assist in a draft? I have a couple books, but they're more aimed at professionals, which I am not!
I have a B.A., but not a professional of any kind. Need to draft a basic resume that reflects my work history, personality, and abilities.

You should really consider targeting your resume to a specific area/job that you want and have the qualifications to fill. For example, if you want an editing position, your resume would list directly-related qualifications, such as previous part-time positions and related course work. Your resume will be more focused and likely to get results than a general document. The problem with such a general document is that it attempts to cover everything, but has little reason for doing so! And even worse, such a resume tends to be trashed instead of yielding desired results.
Books and other sources can only give you general suggestions. For example, they might state that you need to include an objective, qualifications, and education.
You should consider several sources before drafting a final version of your resume. Also, put yourself in the recipient's place. Would you hire this person? Why or why not?

You can look at the resources offered at www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Resume samples can be found at www.quintcareers.com and the two aforementioned sites. And from those three links you are destined to find a link to a resume expert who will improve your resume for a fee.
I have found that quintcareers.com is easier for me to find exactly what I am looking for, while the other two sometimes offers only generic information.
Hope this helps. :-)

You can read reviews of resume writing services at http://www.jobgoround.com/review_resume_writers.php. I used one of the services and was quite satisfied. Reading the reviews prior to ordering made me feel confident that the service was legit and high quality. Thought you'd like to know.
