ending of eragon in the movie

Of course there will be another movie, that's implied directly by the end of the film.

Eragon is similar to the Harry Potter series in the sense that the movies are based on installments of the books. There is a book 2, so there will be a second movie.

The other dragon is the kings .... which is mentioned in the film, that he destroyed the other dragons and riders, and the only dragon rider left is him .... obviously he'd still have his dragon.

The ending of the movie was clearly designed to sink hollywood's hooks into the viewers so I think it's obvious they'll be doing a sequeal. Also they advertise the movie on some sites as part of the Inheritance Trilogy. If they had avertised it as Eragon based off of book one of the Inheritance Trilogy then it would seem as though they were alluding to the book series. There obvious twist of the words is a clear hint/tease to viewers to be prepared for a second movie.:)

My husband told me that Eragon is a trilogy like LOTR, so my answer will be YES there will be another Eragon movie. (hopefully!)

Yes there is a second one. If you rewatch the movie you will understand why. Also go to the bookstore. The second book is there. It says in the movie about the second dragon. It's a very short and vague story about it. But it is mentioned. It isn't really another part per say. Because Eragon's story was ended in a way. But yet at the same time left open for continuence. Not really a cliffhanger though.

On the cover of the netflix movie is says that it is the first movie based on the inhertance triology so I think that you can definitly say that their is going to be another movie and I for one can not wait!!
