In Search of Dr. Suess  

I've seen a lot about Dr. Suess recently, is it near his birthday?

Birthday or no, Dr Seuss is just a good author. Appropriate for all ages.

Before you purchase this video on line check it out at EBay you may get is cheaper there Since we have members from all over the world and it may be that some have no idea who Dr Seuss is?? It is difficult at times to understand that many people in the world are unaware of a lot of things I found a webmaster in the UK that never heard of the World Series or Super Bowl ....etc etc ..so to introduce Dr Seuss who have no idea and maybe enlighten those that have heard of him ..

Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was a famous American writer and cartoonist best known for his classic children's books under the pen name Dr. Seuss, including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books have become staples for many children and their parents. Seuss' trademark was his rhyming text and outlandish creatures. He also wrote under the pseudonym Theo. LeSieg. He wrote and illustrated 48 children's books.

Geisel was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts

I may look for that. I have a lot of Dr Suess books and I think he is wonderful. Even one of the greatest authors of all time for children. I should get rid of them, but just can't bear to. I got them for my daughter when she was 2 & 3 and I have many of them.
