do you spend much on watching television? Others say that too much watching can cause you stubborness. Maybe because you are just sitting there doing nothing. What's your insights on this?

I don't think that too much television is particularly good for you, it might not harm you in the physical sense (although over time may affect eyesight) but I think it does more to affect the social interactions between people. Television is an excellent medium that I don't think I could do without, its a great way to learn about what's happening in the world, to relax, to inform and entertain, but the relationship between the TV set and the individual is just that between one and another. I suppose there are exceptions to this, eg sporting matches shown to large groups but by and large I think it hinders social interaction. But I wouldn't do without TV, and I think like anything in life, moderate and it's fine.

I think too much television is ruining people's social life. With people wanting to be glued more to the Television box rather than going out for social activities. I think TV is one those inventions of science which is useful but also has a bad side to it.
Apart from stubborness, it also causes havoc with people's eyes leading to the dryness of the water in the eyes. This leads to frequent headaches and shortened tempers as well.
So keep your child away from the Idiot Box as far as possible.
Cheers!

If my child doesn't have school, she loves to watch tv all the time. Thats why i try to convince her to play with her nanny than watching tv. Its better to play because she can learn more. Yes you are right too much of watching tv can cause eye defective. So we will just be careful always and try to control our time in watching television.
