Do you expect some earnings when U report a discussion violating the guidlines?

I think we deserve this, because when we report about a discussion about it's violation in the guidelines. I mean we spend some three minutes in doing this and instead if we respond a discussion we would earn atleast two cents. So this justifies the demand. If there are atleast 10-20 users who feel like this then only we can request them. Or we are already making some earnings by reporting the abuse?

one thing we have to agree on. That is mylot paying system is so very difficult to understand. I really dont know how we earn and how we dont. But one thing I know, you can have a marvelous time on myLot apart from earning. I think there is a kick in it, cos we dont know how we earn, but, we earn anyway.

Okay here's my 2 cents worth. No I don't expect to earn for reporting abuse. I don't think that it should be added to the 3 things that we are paid for already. Their are other things that would be better suited to earnings to me. Such as best responses and tagging your discussions. I know that we earn more for doing it but actually add it to the list of specifics. :) If we posted to discussion that violates the guidelines and someone else reports it or mylot sees it and deletes it, I think we loose more than what we received in earnings. I think that we get penalized for "violating" the guidelines also. I think that when we participate fully in mylot that our earnings reflect that. You still only earn for the 3 things, discussions started, responses, uploading pictures, but you receive more for each when you fully participate. Like I said this is just my 2 cents worth. Happy mylotting!! :)

I don't notice it at all. I don't think we earning when we report a violation, on the other hand it is a shame if one is reported and violated. .

No I don't expect earnings when I report a discussion using violation. I do it because I feel that I am helping mylot to be safe, clean and more fun. I would appreciate more if mylot would issue clear guidelines how money is earned here.

I would say that I don't agree if we get earning from reporting a discussion violation. First, people here will start to looking for other's people fault. Second, newbie in mylot will be an easy target. They usually don't read guidelines in details, and they will be taking wrong turn because of someone who want to earn more money by reporting violations. I think we better did not earn anything if we report a violation, not decrease our money but also not increase our money. So, it will be purely because we want to help mylot by reporting violation.

I think earning money for reporting violatiors is wrong. You should be doing this to not only keep the site active but to also make sure it is not filled up with junk. If you got paid for it then if you disagreed with anythihng then you could report it & get paid for it, so that is not going to work. Then you would have people trying to report innocent postings & get paid for it.

I don't know if we should get paid or not. I feel that it's our duty to report abusers. But, I think if we did get paid, it might be an incentive. On the other hand, it might encourage people to report others for no reason and that would be a problem.

I agree that reporting these violations can be quite time consuming, especially when reporting plagiarism because I always like to look up the source. On days when I come across many of these posts, I earn very little for my posts because my time at myLot is taken up by reporting posts. While it would be nice to be compensated for my time though, I have to agree with some of the others. I am afraid that if we were to be paid for reporting violators, there would be those who would use this to try to game the system to earn money for reporting those that they either disagreed with or did not like. In addition, as someone mentioned in a previous response, newbies would be easy prey and may be driven from the site if we had people deliberately going after them to try to earn a few cents. I wish that all members would just take the initiative and report the abuse that they see even though we do not earn anything for it. It would be nice to get rid of some of the plagiarizers and scammers on this site.
